Devolatilizing extruder removes monomer/oligomer and solvent directly from polymer solution. This extruder can be applied to not only thermoplastics but also to synthetic rubber.
 

Features

• This process removes most of the solvent efficiency with a flashing process at the feeding section, constant surface renewal at multiple downstream vents and gas removal from bubbled polymer created by the injection of stripping agents.
• This extruder can devolatilize maximum 80% solvent into polymer.
• JSW has developed optimized barrel and screw configurations and auxiliaries for this process(such as vent stuffers) based on the extensive devolatilizing experiences to produce high devolatilizing performance.
